Taste for the Cure: A Taste of Science
The UCSF Carol Franc Buck Breast Care Center

   I sampled yummy breakfast recipes....

Project lunch stake holder- committed to helping get Marin and area schools healthier food options and to educate both kids and their families about local food options.

Dixie school district wellness committee member- ensuring all schools in the district have a plan in hand to ensure healthy food options for kids at lunch as well as food brought into the classroom. Help to create policy and enforce it thru teachers, students, parents.

Local elementary school fund raiser: prepared Mexican inspired menu to help raise money for school programs. Fed 300 plus people.

Other experiences....
Standard of Excellence presented the 
"Global kitchen Stage" at the Marin County fair.
July 2 - 2010 presented my Mexican inspired
quesadilla with roasted peppers and quesco fresco cheese with a grilled corn and jicama salsa.

August 5th 2010/- Share our strengths "Taste of the Nation",
Napa Valley at the Silverado Resort.
Volunteer and had my services up for auction.
A great cause to make sure no child is left hungery!!

Chef Lynn and her husband John were incredibly friendly. They came prepared and had everything going on time. The food was great, but we did have a bit left over. Thank you for making our holiday party so memorable for us and our friends.

Our dinner with Chef Lynn was such a wonderful and delicious experience. The food was absolutely delicious and exactly what they presented in their proposal. Chef Lynn made special accommodations for our group when we requested some lower carb options. When we asked for wine paring recommendations, she gave us some wine options to go with our meal. She and her husband were extremely professional, warm and inviting, hospitable and humble. For our next Kitchit dinner party, we will definitely request Chef Lynn again!

Lynn was exactly what we wanted for 8 friends getting together on a holiday. She came in and just handled everything so well. I liked that she just made that kitchen her own and hardly needed to ask a question. She just got to work seamlessly turning out a great dinner.

Our dinner was a simple but elegant roast chicken. The starters were very good -- from appetizer to soup and salad. The dessert was fantastic. The main course lacked some oomph - needed more seasoning. I wish the roast vegetables had been given enough time to really caramelize. It's tough to get everything served /timed so some things were warm rather than hot.

Overall a fantastic experience - we would definitely do it again. It was a delight.

Chef Lynn and John made an incredible feast for a large group of our friends on New Years Eve. I was impressed with how organized and prepared they were when they arrived for the evening. They were self sufficient in terms of all materials and equipment, which made for an effortless evening of hosting on my end. There was copious amounts of incredibly delicious food for our group, including some delightful surprises. The guests raved about the garlic green beans, roasted baby potatoes, and champagne chicken as being one of the greatest meals in San Francisco. It was cooked to perfection! I am so glad that we went with Chef Lynn and will definitely request her back in the near future.

"Let me just say from the start that the food is fantastic. 
Chef Lynn was very professional asking all the right 
questions over email and the phone. 
She and her husband arrive on time and went straight to work in our kitchen. Our house smelled wonderfully as they prepped and cooked. 
Once the cooking was finished, they clean up EVERYTHING. I think our kitchen was cleaner after they left than when they arrived! 
The way she organized our menu, with clear instructions, was fantastic. Each dish was placed in the fridge with accompanying plates and labels for easy finding. The entire experience was worth while. We can't recommend Chef Lynn enough!"
